VDMA Announces Dates for Annual TFL Industry Meeting, November 17 & 18

VDMA Announcement


The VDMA TFL industry meeting will be held November 17 and 18 in Brussels focusing on current environmental and international trade issues from the EU Green Deal to the consequences of decoupling.


On Thursday, November 17, attendees can expect a high-level panel discussion on the topic of the EU Green Deal initiative and its consequences for medium-sized companies, with Marie-Hélène Pradines, Tourism & Textiles Head of Unit, Antonio de Sousa Maia, Textiles, Garment, Leather and Shoes, both from DG GROW, European Commission, as well as representatives of VDMA's customer associations and member companies.


At the VDMA TFL general assembly in the morning of November 18, they will address current issues affecting the industry. As a special highlight, attendees can expect a presentation on the current trade policy challenges of the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission. In the afternoon of November 18, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the European Parliament.


Additionally, VDMA will offer an exciting accompanying programme with a guided tour of the city and a visit to the House of European History.
