Tukatech Promotes Umesh Gaur as ‘Managing Director – International’

Tukatech, the leading provider for CAD, CAM apparel technology solutions, has promoted Umesh Gaur as Managing Director International.

In his new role, Umesh will be responsible for managing Tukatech’s business operations on the global scale bringing more than 20 years of experience in the space, with a proven track record serving previously as company’s President for Asian market.

Umesh, currently based in Gurgaon (India), has come a long way working in Tukatech as he joined the company as an Installation Engineer almost two decades ago, before moving up through the ranks to oversee operations in Asia and Europe.

With this promotion, Tukatech is poised to execute an ambitious growth plan in Asia, the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, and other emerging markets with an ever-changing and increasingly challenging supply chain environment.

Ecstatic on his new role, Umesh stated, “It’s a huge honour to have this opportunity at such an exciting time for the company.” He notes a marked increase in the use of technology for companies of all levels and sizes. This is especially so in exporting countries fighting to save their businesses and become competitive,” adding, “And, is also the case for importing countries bringing production back home with the use of technology.”

He further mentioned that it is challenging for exporters to reduce their time and cost or else lose business. “With strong foundations for this growth and a huge base of happy Tukatech users, I am confident that we can continue to build upon this success and drive our strategic vision forward,” commented Umesh.

Ram Sareen, Founder and Chairman of Tukatech, is ‘thrilled’ to bring Umesh into the Managing Director International position. “It is with great pleasure I can announce this promotion. Umesh has many years of experience in the apparel industry and has done a wonderful job building and supporting teams in Asia and Europe.
