Tech Talks at Texprocess Americas 2023

The countdown for Texprocess Americas is now in single digits, and I couldn’t be more excited to be in Atlanta next week, May 10-12th. This is my favorite show by far and not just because I'm involved with it. I first discovered the show over a decade ago and let’s just say I fell in love with the shiny new equipment, the hum of machines, and the chatter of industry professionals talking shop with one another. It’s THE place to be to get inspired by possibilities, learn about the latest innovations in tech and materials, to connect and grow your network, and then to come home and implement new solutions and strategies.
I am thrilled to partner again this year with Messe Frankfurt and SPESA to curate and host the show’s Tech Talks series, along with my conspirator Shoshana Burgett of Color Karma. The Tech Talks will take place on the main exhibition floor, centered between Texprocess Americas and the adjoining Techtextil North America show, in Booth #1733.
We have 10 talks set across the 3-day event, and will feature topics including a Last Mile Robotics Case Study with Frank Henderson (learn how quickly a factory can see and maximize ROI by implementing automation); take a Peek Into Your Competition as if You Worked There with Retviews by LECTRA (use competitive intelligence to make smarter decisions on pricing and discount strategies, product assortment, and more); Empowering & Growing Your Workforce with Technology with Justin Hershoran from Aptean (utilizing Shop Floor software to improve training, efficiency, worker satisfaction and autonomy, and implementing incentive pay); and Closing the Loop - Circularity & Cutting Edge Collaboration with representatives from Contempora Fabrics, Parkdale Mills, and UNIFI (discussing how the supply chain must work together from fiber to final product in order to create solutions for true circularity).
On Friday, join us for Threading The Needle, where Michael McDonald and I will recap the overarching themes, areas of growth, and discuss our biggest takeaways from Texprocess Americas 2023, from the Tech Talks, Symposiums, and from the show floor itself.
